These are the mods that I used to use for the flat file version and have either gotten working or intend to get working with DBMan SQL Version 1. Other mods from JPDeni may work without changes, but I have not tested them all since I don't plan on using them.
If there is another mod that you would like that doesn't work with the SQL version, let me know and I will take a look at it and see if I can figure out how to make it work.
For the full list of JPDeni's Mods, go to http://www.jpdeni.com/dbman/mods.html
Mods list:
* Archive Records (HTML included)
* Automatic View/Modify Search (HTML included)
* Change username in account and record (Simple changes!)
* Dirty Word Censor
* Internal Message System (coming soon?) *my own original mod. I have this working on my site, but have not set up the mod for release here.*
* Limit number of records per user (limitrecords6.txt at JPDeni's)
* Multiple File Upload Mod
* Private Mailer (HTML inlcuded)
* Secure Password Lookup Mod
* Validate Records (HTML included)
* Who's Online
Feel free to test these mods out on the demo that I have set up. This is the way I used to have it on my website. I've made a lot of changes and almost everything on my new version of the website is done within the script now. The original script is hardly the same anymore, but I still use these mods. Anyway you should be able to get an idea of what you can do.
DBMan SQL Version 1 (opens new window).
For admin, Log in as "admin" for username & password. To test as user, feel free to sign up for an account, or user "demo" for username & password.
Note: I am a novice with Perl and SQL and these mods were based on JPDeni's original mods and were modified for DBMan SQL version 1 using only the "Trial & Error" method. I take no credit for JPDeni's original work and am only publishing my own modifications to help others that enjoy JPDeni's original mods and wish to use them with the SQL version.
If you have any problems with these mods, please email me at webmaster@rainbowroomies.com so I can fix them and change the mods.
